Richest Fight in The History of Boxing

The battle that the whole boxing world has been wishing and asking for is now set to be a reality and is scheduled on May 2, 2015. The welterweight clash will be the richest in boxing history, with Floyd Mayweather catching on the Philippines Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao in a dream event for all disturbed, especially in monetary terms.

After several months of transaction in an effort to make that fantasy become a reality, it was Mayweather himself who actually declared that it would go ahead. The world’s biggest paid boxer posted a picture of the signed contract online.

The fight event will take place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas with Mayweather coming out of the transaction with a 60/40 split in his favor. Some professional analyst admit the bout could earn up to $400 million. The arrangement also meant that rival networks desiring to broadcast the fight event had to go through a pretty full-on agreement of their own. Mayweather is consumed to cable network Showtime while Pacquiao to HBO. The two networks came to an understanding which will see them share the broadcast.

The promotion neighboring the fight event is likely to rival the Mike Tyson vs Lennox Lewis bout of 2002. However, some advise that the clash would have been better off taking place five years ago when many say both athletes were in the heyday. In case, most professional boxing viewers would no hesitation admit that both men have absent some of their former art.

Floyd Mayweather has not accomplished too much disturbance in the ring over his career, but is turning 38, whilst the Filipino has had a barbarous career which must have taken its toll on his 36 years old.
